By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and the related Privacy, Return & Refund, and Shipping policies. Please do not use the site or place an order if you do not agree.

You may use the site only for lawful personal shopping. You may not misuse the checkout, interfere with the site, copy site content for commercial use, or attempt to access systems or information that are not intended for you.

Products and descriptions

Vintage goods are one-of-a-kind and sold as described. Age, patina, prior use, and minor variation are part of the nature of vintage merchandise. Katie Liz makes a good-faith effort to photograph and describe each item accurately, including notable condition details.

Handmade items may have small variations that reflect the materials and process. Colors can also appear differently across screens. Please review the full listing, measurements, photos, price, and fulfillment choice before ordering.

Orders, availability, and payment

Prices are shown in U.S. dollars. Payment is processed by PayPal, and your use of PayPal is also subject to PayPal’s terms and privacy practices. Katie Liz does not receive your full payment-card details.

Adding an item to the cart does not reserve it. Because many items are one-of-a-kind, an order may be declined or canceled if the item has already sold, a listing or price contains a material error, or fulfillment is not possible. If Katie Liz cancels an order after payment, the affected amount will be refunded.

Pickup, shipping, and returns

Orders may offer local pickup or shipping. Shipping charges and pickup arrangements are described in the Shipping Policy. Refund requests are limited to lost or broken items and must meet the 14-day requirements in the Return & Refund Policy.

Site content and responsibility

The Katie Liz name, photographs, product descriptions, graphics, and original creations may not be reproduced or used commercially without permission. Links to third-party services are provided for convenience; those services control their own sites and practices.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Katie Liz is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the site or a product. Nothing in these terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

These terms may be updated as the shop changes. The effective date above shows the version that applies. Questions about an order or these terms can be sent to katielizvintage@gmail.com.

Information collected

Katie Liz receives information you choose to provide, such as your name, email address, shipping address, pickup details, order information, and messages about an order.

If you join the email list, the signup form asks for your first name and email address. Mailchimp receives and manages that subscription information. If you check out, PayPal processes payment and provides Katie Liz with the transaction and contact details needed to complete your order. Katie Liz does not receive your full payment-card number.

How information is used

• To process, fulfill, ship, or arrange pickup for an order.
• To answer questions and provide customer service.
• To prevent fraud, resolve disputes, and keep business records.
• To send shop news and promotions when you choose to join the Mailchimp email list.
• To comply with legal, tax, and accounting obligations.

When information is shared

Information is shared only as reasonably needed to operate the shop—for example, with PayPal for payment processing, Mailchimp for email subscriptions, Google Apps Script to send the name, email address, and project details from a custom-order request to katielizcreates@gmail.com, and shipping carriers for delivery. Those providers handle information under their own terms and privacy practices.

Katie Liz does not sell your personal information. Information may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect legal rights, or in connection with a transfer of the business.

Email choices

Marketing emails are sent only after you sign up. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any Mailchimp email. Unsubscribing from marketing does not prevent order-related messages.

Retention and protection

Order and correspondence records are kept only as long as reasonably needed for fulfillment, support, legal, tax, and accounting purposes. Email-list information remains with Mailchimp until you unsubscribe or ask for removal, subject to any records Mailchimp must retain.

Reasonable care is used to protect personal information, but no online service or transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and contact

You may ask to review, correct, or delete personal information held by Katie Liz, subject to records that must be kept for legal or business reasons. Send privacy requests to katielizvintage@gmail.com.

This policy may be updated as the shop or its services change. The effective date above identifies the current version.

Vintage and handmade items

Vintage pieces are one-of-a-kind and sold as described. Normal age, patina, prior use, or a condition detail shown or described in the listing does not qualify as breakage. Handmade variation and screen-to-screen color differences are also not defects.

Returns and refunds are not offered for change of mind, fit, preference, buyer’s remorse, or details already disclosed in the listing. Please review all photos, measurements, and descriptions before purchasing.

If an item arrives broken

Contact Katie Liz within 14 calendar days of the recorded delivery date. Include your name, order details, a description of the damage, clear photographs of the item and packaging, and any carrier notice. Keep the item and all packaging until the claim is resolved.

If a shipment is lost

Contact Katie Liz within 14 calendar days after the carrier’s estimated delivery date if tracking does not show successful delivery. Katie Liz may first ask the carrier to trace the package and may request confirmation of the shipping address.

Approved refunds

If a claim is approved, the refund will cover the affected item and the shipping amount paid for that item. Refunds are sent to the original PayPal payment method. Processing time after issuance is controlled by PayPal and the buyer’s financial institution.

Do not mail an item back unless Katie Liz gives you return instructions. If a return is required for an approved broken-item claim, Katie Liz will provide the return instructions and cover the authorized return shipping cost.

Local pickup

Please inspect local-pickup purchases when receiving them. A broken-item claim must still be made within 14 calendar days of pickup and applies only to damage that was not disclosed and was present when the item was received.

Flat-rate shipping

Shipped prices include a flat shipping charge for each item:

• $8.07 for pottery, glass, and housewares.
• $5.68 for jewelry.

The product page and cart show the full shipped price before checkout. When an order contains more than one item, each item’s applicable flat rate is included in the cart total.

Local pickup

Items marked for local pickup do not include a shipping charge. After payment through PayPal, Katie Liz will use the contact information connected with the order to arrange a pickup time and location. Please wait for those arrangements before traveling to collect an order.

Order preparation and delivery

Items are packed with care, especially fragile vintage pieces. Preparation and carrier timing can vary by item and destination. Order-specific timing and available tracking information will be shared after purchase.

Carrier delivery estimates are not guarantees. Weather, service interruptions, peak-season volume, and other carrier delays may affect arrival.

Shipping address

Buyers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. Contact Katie Liz promptly if you notice an error. An address cannot be changed after the package has been handed to the carrier.

Additional shipping costs caused by an incorrect or incomplete address may be the buyer’s responsibility unless the error was made by Katie Liz.

Lost or broken packages

Refunds are available only for items that are lost in transit or arrive broken, subject to the 14-day claim window and documentation described in the Return & Refund Policy. Contact katielizvintage@gmail.com promptly with your order details.
